Majnu Ka Tila, colony in Delhi, introduced a women’s hostel situated right on an arterial road of the area. The wall of the hostel “The Hub” was picked for the art installation, commissioned by Studio Dot. The aim was to evoke a message of women empowerment through an art installation. The face of the woman depicts a sense of composure with the wires originating from the same. The frame, as well as the face, were created with upcycled or salvaged materials found at site post its design and construction.
